Color Scheme Painting Group Project
This was fun...but scary! As a way to reinforce the Color Theory notes we'd just taken, I cut this artwork into pieces and let the students choose one to do in a scheme of their choice. They had no clue what the final picture would be! We hung this one in the English Hall since she was reading a novel!
We set up a giant mound of crazy-fun objects in the center of the room and positioned the tables all around. Students were to find an area of the still-life most interesting to them and create a composition. Contrasting shading and values being of utmost importance next to composition and layout.
